Champion boxing club is small organisation based in Leicester, which was established by the wishes of the Late Salim Sarang, in September 2010.

The recreational boxing community club have approximately 100 members which include 40 adults and 60 children that attend on a regular basis.

Champions Boxing Club is gaining popularity on a weekly basis, with members from the Spinney Hill area and others from neighbouring wards.

The clubs objectives include; encouraging healthy living, tackling obesity, teaching discipline with boxing, involving young people in constructive activities, promote healthy eating and to tackle stress with exercise , delivery of non contact GB boxing awards programme.

Fortunately, many of of the club members have boxed before and have attained the benefits of the sport. One of the programme’s Champion boxing club delivers, is the GB Boxing Awards Certificate and medals. The clubs next step and working with Leicester ABA Boxing development office Daniel Allen is to become a registered ABA Club, so we can start sparring which will incorporate the Silver, Gold and Platinum awards with the club members, then start competitive boxing for those who wish to.
